Francisco González de Canales is Professor of Architectural Composition at the University of Seville and regularly invited to the Architectural Association School of Architecture in London since 2008. He studied architecture in Seville, Barcelona and Harvard and worked for Foster+Partners and Rafael Moneo. In 2003 he founded Canales Lombardero with Nuria Álvarez Lombardero, an office with which he has received various distinctions and published his work in international magazines. Between 2002 and 2006 he was director of the Neutra magazine of the College of Architects of Seville. Between 2008 and 2012 he was coordinator of the public program of the London Architectural Association as AACP coordinator. He has been a visiting professor at various international institutions and has published more than 30 articles in specialized journals. His books include: First Works: Emergent architectural practices of the 1960s and 1970s (2009, with B.
