Each year, Retrospecta celebrates exceptional student work and aims to capture what distinguishes an education at the School of Architecture. Much of what makes Yale unique stems from the varied and hearty experiences within its academic structure: the 6on7s, the Thursday receptions, the events that unfold between lunchtime and studio. While the schedule of classes brings order and reason, it is also the scaffolding upon which moments of inquiry and whimsy take place. Yale's education is punctuated by the attention we give and the issues we tend to–it is this generosity within an academic structure that gives Rudolph Hall its texture and life.
