Hélène Frichot is Professor of Critical Studies and Gender Theory in Architecture, School of Architecture and the Built Environment KTH Stockholm, where she is the Director of Critical Studies in Architecture. She is Adjunct Professor in the School of Architecture and Design RMIT University, Melbourne, Australia, where between 2004-2011 she held a tenured academic position and led the Architecture+Philosophy research stream with a focus on how to integrate critical theory into the emerging domain of research by design. Her research is located across the transdisciplinary field between architecture and philosophy, where she holds her PhD (University of Sydney 2004).
