He obtained the title of architect at the Escuela Superior de Arquitectura de Madrid (ETSAM) in 1986, where he has been a professor of projects since 1993 and directs a teaching unit since September 2006. He has been Director of the Department of Architectural Projects. Since 2017 he has been Professor of Projects. Between 1991 and 1993 he was director of the magazine Arquitectura, of which he is currently co-director after winning the corresponding competition in 2017. He is also director-editor of Fisuras de la cultura contemporánea since its foundation in 1994.
